A glance into my life as a missionary!

Hola a todos!! I am a full time missionary in Mendoza, Argentina with Youth with a Mission.

I LOVE ADVENTURE! I also love teaching through Adventure. God has allowed me to serve Him in Argentina through Adventure learning in many ways. In 2010 God put a strong burden in my heart for non christian young people, so strong I started to cry one day and could not stop!! I decided to make a ropes adventure challenge course at our base in Mendoza to reach out to those youth and train Christians in leadership and team building!

The blogs are my way of bringing you along with me in the daily adventures of living overseas and facing the challenges of reaching young people through ropes course and more!!

Prison update: I visit a women's prison every Tuesday, and lately lots of good things have been happening. One lady who is out now got baptized and is attending a church, she even goes to the red light district, where so many prisoners worked as prostitutes, and witnesses to the ladies there. Many ladies have come to know Christ and confessed their crimes, even begun to realize the consequences of their bad decisions. I have also seen some be set free of a drug addiction, violence, and cutting. At least 2 have prayed with me to accept Christ this last period, and I see them improving in their conduct, appearance, and attempts to pray and read the Bible. God is truly moving in the prison, and I know it's a spiritual battle when we are there. Recently we took 7 french musicians in to play for the women and show dramas. One lady opened up afterwards about being a prostitute and her desperation to go back to it for the money. My friend Nicola clearly told her she was a princess of God and princesses do not subject themselves to that type of life. She needs her kids more than money and has to choose between one or the other. These type of confrontations are not always easy especially in such a spiritually oppressed environment but God is revealing Himself in supernatural ways and there is a new joy and peace now. I enjoy going, and as I listen to the ladies talk about their case, their sufferings in life, I try to put myself in their shoes. It's hard to go week after week and be optimistic about their case, but I know God is using their time there for His purpose and calling them out from the darkness to light. Pray for these ladies with me!!
